My 6-year-old daughter has had a red, itchy rash on her bottom for about 4 days, with a slight whitish discharge. She doesn't wear diapers and says it doesn't hurt, but it's a bit itchy. What could this be and what should I do?

What is this? It is flat, not raised, and appears as a hard patch. I had a biopsy done, but I haven't received the results yet. I'm not sure if I should be as worried as I am.

I was on Metoprolol Succ ER 100mg and Lisinopril HCTZ 20-12.5 for a few years. After side effects became too annoying, my doctor switched me to Valsartan HCTZ 80-12.5. I'm nervous about stopping beta blockers cold turkey and my blood pressure is reading 145/97 on average. Should I be worried that I wasn't weaned off the beta blocker?
