I have M.D. and have become confined to a power chair for the past two years. I have gained about 20 lbs, making transitions between chairs and to my bath lift difficult. I feel this weight gain is dangerous to my maintaining independence and would like to know if any medications could help me get back in control. I take oxybutinin for bladder control, warfarin for a previous blood clot, pramipexole for leg spasms, Tecfidera for MS, and Effexor for depression. I have had back surgery for a disc and breast cancer due to postmenopausal hormones.

I have spasticity in both legs and have seen multiple specialists who only recommend physical therapy. Oral baclofen caused me to swell in the ankles. Do you think a baclofen pump might help? What seems to make the symptoms worse or better? Are there any other treatment options I should consider?

I have a sore on my tongue that was initially painful and had a lump, but now it's just red and slightly indented. It has not healed in 4 weeks. Could this be oral cancer, and what should I do?

Can I take Z-pack antibiotic if I have heart PVCs? I have bad anxiety and am worried about potential heart and anxiety issues. I am taking it with Xanax, Zoloft, vitamin D, and magnesium. What are the main side effects and when would an allergic reaction show up?
