I have pain in my right neck/shoulder area deep inside, and when I take a deep breath, there is a sharp pain. The pain has been constant for 3 days, and I am not managing it with any medications. I am a 24-year-old male with no prior chronic conditions or recent illnesses, but there is an inconsistent cough. No injuries have been sustained. What could be causing this pain and what should I do?

My knees turn red after a shower, and I experience itching, burning, and pain on my outer thighs. The symptoms are more pronounced when I'm not moving, but they decrease significantly when I walk or run. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?

I didnāt take my Coumadin or heparin for a full day and had a d dimer test. It was undetectable. Doctor says this is accurate and rules out PE- is this true?

I ran a small stick into the upper part of my foot about a week ago. It is slightly red, a little sore with some pus, and I suspect a splinter. I have a doctor's appointment next Wednesday. Is it okay to wait until then?

I am a 35-year-old man who has had a potential exposure to HIV 14 days ago. While I will get tested, I am waiting for the 18-day window period to be able to get a finger prick test. My only symptoms at the moment (which started about 5 days ago) include a mildly sore throat (dull, constant ache next to the windpipe and sensitive to touch) and a bit of a stiff neck and upper back. I have no other symptoms such as fever, headache, rash, swollen lymph nodes, mouth ulcers, or other muscle or joint pain. My question is if my symptoms are likely to be HIV symptoms.
