I have planter fasciitis and wear special fitted shoe inserts to support the complete foot. This has fixed the problem over the years until last fall when I tore my meniscus in my right knee, causing the PF to flare up on my left foot. I had surgery on the right knee three weeks ago, and it feels great, but the PF won't go away. Yesterday, I overstretched my left foot going up stairs, and the pain is now overwhelming. I iced it last night and am taking ibuprofen, but I can't put pressure on my heel. What can I do to help this mend?
