I have recently started taking propranolol for anxiety. I took 2 pills yesterday, which dropped my resting heart rate to 48. I am already on a beta blocker called diltiazem that I've been taking for 2 years. My doctor told me to stop taking the propranolol if my heart rate went below 60. Since I am already on a beta blocker, can suddenly stopping the propranolol be dangerous even though I've only been on it for a day? Additionally, how long would it take for my heart to become used to taking a beta blocker like propranolol, and can I stop taking it cold turkey since I've only been on it for a week?

As a veterinary technician from Quebec, Canada, with an up-to-date rabies vaccine and a titer of +4IU/ml, I am concerned about a possible exposure to rabies last spring when something flew into me in my shed. My doctor said I had nothing to worry about, but I would like to understand if my current antibodies could protect me if I were to develop rabies after a few months or years. Additionally, if I were to be exposed to rabies in the future without receiving supplementary vaccination, would I still be protected by my current vaccine?

What are these bumps on my hands, where could they be coming from, and how to get rid of/prevent them? They’re mostly on my right hand, but I have 2 on my left hand also. They’ve shown up 1 or 2 at a time over the past couple of weeks. They are a little painful to the touch, become itchy, and it seems like I can scratch them off or squeeze clear fluid out of them.
