I sometimes experience a skunk-like smell, usually in my office or when my husband comes in from outside. Today, I randomly had it while driving. I'm wondering if it's from a plant like Tulbaghia violacea or if it could be something more serious, especially since I often get headaches.

I have been experiencing a sore throat on the left side for over three weeks, along with ear pain and tightness in the left part of my head. The pain is dull and comes and goes with the throat pain. I have used Telynol tablets but haven't found relief. I also feel discomfort while speaking and more pain when I do. I used to smoke more heavily a month ago, which seemed to worsen the throat pain, but I have since stopped. What could be causing these symptoms and what can I do to alleviate them?
