I’ve had Crohn's disease off-and-on for 40 years since diagnosis. Recently, my anxiety medication stopped working, causing anxiety that led to a more severe Crohn’s attack. I used Prednisone to manage the inflammation, but it caused some damage. This time, the focus was near my navel, and it seems to be taking longer to heal fully than usual. Do you know if there is something different about the lower part of the small bowel that would take longer to heal, and how long does it take for a severe episode of Crohn’s to heal?

I woke up with a pain sensation in the lower back and hip area, and a pressure sensation in the lower stomach area. The pain is a 5-6 on the pain scale and feels like a muscle strain. I took Tylenol, which helped, but the pain persists. I also have a pressure/bloating feeling in the lower abdomen, and I'm unsure if it's constipation. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do for relief?

I am concerned about a health issue concerning my bowel. After using the washroom today, I noticed blood when I wiped. My stool appears to be the regular color and consistency, and there was no blood on the toilet or stool. I take omeprazole for GERD, which has been diagnosed and treated with an endoscope. What could be causing the bleeding, and what should I look out for in the future?

We are worried about our toddler granddaughter's dramatic behavior changes. She is 2 years, 9 months old, adopted by a lesbian couple who split during the pandemic. Recently, she has become fearful, crying, and won't come near us, preferring only one of her moms. The other mom has been seeing another woman with kids and has been physically and verbally aggressive with the child. What can we do to help our granddaughter, and how do we address her behavior changes?
