I have very little saliva in my mouth and have been diagnosed with burning mouth syndrome, which my doctor now thinks is due to two drugs I am taking: Klonipin 1mg and trazedone 100 mg at night. I also take cevimeline 30 mg 4xday for dry mouth and xylimelts. I have been on these medications for over 8 years and have noticed irritation as soon as I started taking trazodone. I need advice on how to safely taper off these medications and what else I can do to alleviate my dry mouth symptoms.
