I fell on my knee yesterday and now there is a burning pain, difficulty in straightening it, and a lot of pain when touched. There is light bruising but not a lot of swelling. What could be the issue and what should I do?

Can a prosthesis become impinged, and is an impingement different from a loose hip? I fell and have been in terrible pain since, with a third prosthesis and a rod zip-tied to it. I've had a CT scan that showed no looseness, but there is swelling, discoloration, and fluid collection along the incision site.

I had food poisoning on Sunday and my stomach is still bloated and I’m experiencing stomach pain. The pain comes and goes and is achy. I consulted a pharmacist who suggested antibiotics. I haven't used antibiotics recently, the last time was two years ago for an infected bee sting. I'm 63 years old and generally very healthy with no other medical issues. I have had diarrhea in the past few days but not today. I don't have nausea and have taken Gravol for relief. I'm not allergic to any medications. What could be causing my symptoms and what should I do?

I have a constant dry cough that has persisted for over 6 months. I've tried various cough medicines and drops, but they only slightly help. I also smoke marijuana occasionally. What could be causing this persistent cough, and what can I do to alleviate it?
