My periods have been irregular since I was 14, but they became more regular after my tubal ligation. I have celiac disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, anxiety, ADHD, and a history of malabsorption. I'm currently on Adderall XR, Nature-Throid, and Wellbutrin. Since June, I've experienced significant cognitive impairment, neuropathy, and fatigue, along with other symptoms like confusion, word-finding difficulties, dizziness, and numbness. My MRI showed bilateral subcortical T2 hyperintensities, which my PCP said are not concerning and don't warrant a neurologist referral. My psychiatrist suggested talking to my PCP, creating a loop. Given my symptoms and MRI findings, should I push for a neurologist referral or seek a second opinion?
