I've been feeling like I'm drunk for the past week, with balance issues and dizziness that comes and goes. I'm not a heavy drinker and haven't had any alcohol in weeks. I take metformin for type 2 diabetes, lisinopril, and venlafaxine. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My girlfriend just had a tubal ligation. She experienced knee swelling and extreme pain starting yesterday, which is constant and sharp, stabbing, and aching depending on movement and position. She is 41 years old, stopped using contraceptives 17 days ago, and was under anesthesia for 1 hour. She is currently taking Percocet 7.5 and Zofran 8mg. There is no bruising, redness, or signs of infection at the incisions, and the knee is swollen 360 degrees. What could be causing this and what should we do?

I am a 60-year-old male with a history of a previous knee injury. Recently, while installing lockers and kneeling on concrete, I experienced bad knee pain that shoots up the back of my thigh to my hip and down the front of my knee to the top of my ankle. The pain is severe enough that I need to hold onto something for 15-30 seconds after sitting for more than 5 minutes before I can walk. What could be causing this pain and what should I do about it?
