I was in a car accident and have a bruise on my stomach from the seatbelt that is getting larger and darker. Should I be concerned, and is it normal for a bruise to change like this?

My heart rate when seated is 80-95, and when standing, it increases to 105-130. I was diagnosed with iodine-induced hyperthyroidism and expect my thyroid to normalize in about 2 months. Does this warrant the use of beta blockers, or is it okay to wait it out? I have ear swelling, eye swelling, neck swelling, and circular spots and lumps appearing. My whole body is getting spots, but my ears are the most swollen, and my neck is tender. I'm 28 years old and not on any medications except for an antihistamine I took today. I saw a doctor today who said it's stress, but now I have a rash. What could be causing this and what should I do?
