I have had mucus in my throat for about 3 months, initially diagnosed with bronchitis. After rounds of antibiotics, steroids, and Singulair, there is still no relief. I have tried saline rinses, Flonase, and Mucinex, but nothing helps. I am taking Olmesartan for high blood pressure and considering antihistamines. Could this be caused by allergies, acid reflux, or another illness? Is this a chronic issue that will never go away? What other treatments can I try for immediate relief?

I have been experiencing sleep-onset insomnia due to myoclonus, transient muscle twitches and spasms during the day, and recent visual changes including nearsightedness that varies in severity. My neurologist ordered an EEG and an MRI. How long does it take to get EEG results, what can an EEG rule out if it comes back normal, and should I be concerned about these symptoms potentially indicating a brain tumor or other serious condition?
