My 10-year-old daughter has had a stable fever since Saturday. She experienced flu-like symptoms and vomiting on Sunday and Monday, and now has diarrhea and is irritable but showing signs of improvement. She has a fever ranging from 100-101°F and has a history of rarely being sick. How long should I wait before taking her to the doctor if the fever persists?

I am 64 years old and have experienced lower abdominal swelling with a feeling like a balloon in my intestines for several months. This swelling only occurs when I come home to a place that causes me depression, and it subsides when I leave. My family Nurse Practitioner ordered a CScan, which showed nothing. I take 40 mg of Citalopram and have been feeling much better, but the swelling persists. My husband and I are considering relocating, and I have found a house closer to my job, which brings me peace. My abdomen hasn't swelled since hearing the good news of our potential relocation. Could depression and unhappiness be causing this abdominal swelling, and should we relocate?

He is a heavy smoker and has recently developed a rash around his cheeks and bone pain. What could this mean, and what should we do next?
