I have severe back pain and would like to know some at home remedies for the pain. Additionally, I currently have mononucleosis and am worried about my back pain, which is in a singular spot, swollen, tingling, and worsens with breathing. I noticed a pain on my left side, about 5 inches below my breast and a few inches above my navel, when I bend forward and contract my abdomen. The pain also occurs when I cough and tighten my abdomen muscles. The pain is located in the middle soft area of my abdomen but all the way to the left side. It happens when I tighten the muscles there. What could be causing this pain?
