I have had calluses on the bottom of both feet for years, particularly on the ball of my right foot and between the 1st and 2nd metatarsal area on my left foot. Recently, the top of my left foot above the 5th metatarsal has become swollen and tender. I have tried various callus removers and pads without success. I am a working ICU nurse with 12-hour shifts. What solutions are there for fixing the calluses and addressing the swelling?
