I have been experiencing tiredness for nearly 2 years, initially thought to be due to sleep apnea, but recently diagnosed with stage 3A chronic kidney disease (CKD) in April 2023. My current glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is 55, and my doctor suggests a 'wait and see' approach. I am concerned about the progression of CKD and wonder if starting treatment like Farxiga in the earlier stages could prevent it from advancing to stage 4. What would you recommend?

Is it safe to take 10 mg of Valium and 5-325 mg of hydrocodone/acetaminophen together as prescribed by my doctor for a quick, in-office procedure while I'm awake?
