I picked up a toilet tissue that had blood on it, not after my own use. Someone moments earlier had accidentally dropped it on the floor. I threw it away. Later, I obsessively thought about the possibility that the person might have had HIV. Could I have contracted the virus by touching the tissue? I am not so concerned about myself as I would be about potentially transmitting HIV to others if I were infected. I had an HIV test in September 2018 that came back negative, and this toilet tissue incident would be the only exposure I had to another's bodily fluid in years.

I’m currently in the process of receiving rabies vaccine + pre/post exposure. I got my 2nd shot of the series yesterday and I had a few drinks tonight and didn’t think about if I could even consume alcohol with it. Should I be worried? Will the vaccine no longer work?
