I am worried that my kids might need rabies shots after being jumped on by a dog that had a strong skunk smell, possibly from a recent encounter with a skunk. The dog did not bite or scratch them, but I am concerned about potential exposure to skunk saliva or if the dog had been eating a dead skunk. Should my kids get rabies shots?
