What is the best way to lower my blood pressure, which was recently measured at 164/98, and has been high for some time? I was previously on medication but have not been able to refill it due to lack of insurance. My height is 5'1 and weight is 110, and I have a family history of high cholesterol but not high blood pressure.

I have pus-filled sores in my mouth, on my hands, and legs. The swelling is 2 to 3 times its size, and I have a rash that starts itching, then swells. The rash is reddish-purple dots that develop a black center and swell into pus-filled sores that take a long time to heal. My leg is swollen now, and I can't walk. I've been dealing with this for about a year. What could this be, and what should I do?

I have numbness and tingling in my right foot that has persisted for about three months. I previously had severe sciatic nerve pain, which has since subsided. I went to the hospital for the pain, but they said nothing could be done and gave me painkillers and a shot of morphine. I still have numbness and wonder if anything can be done.

I have difficulty passing stool without putting pressure on the surrounding skin of the anus, even with soft stool and after taking a laxative. It never feels like I've completely emptied my bowels, and wiping afterward never seems clean. What could be the cause and what should I do?

At what point do you need insulin if you are type 2 diabetic? After taking an A1C test, over what percent should you consider starting insulin if the test result is 9.7%? Can diet and exercise help avoid insulin, or is it too late?

I tore my meniscus in an accident 40 years ago, and the knee pain got progressively worse over the years, from clicking to not being able to walk up stairs. I am now diagnosed with osteoarthritis and have a torn meniscus. Could this possibly be related to the accident which I fell and hung onto a ladder by my foot twisting my leg?
