Starting yesterday, my inner ear started itching, which is becoming unbearable despite trying cortisone cream and earache drops. Is this a sign of an ear infection?

I have been diagnosed with GERD and missed my dose of omeprazole today, leading to severe heartburn. Can I take omeprazole now at night even after eating, or should I take something else and resume omeprazole in the morning? Additionally, does GERD cause asthma or vice versa, and if I am taking prednisone and albuterol, which I read can adversely affect GERD, should I discontinue these medications until my GERD symptoms improve?

I have spinal fusion from L3 to T11 and recent MRI indicates epidural lipomatosis, L5-S1 asymmetric high-grade foraminal stenosis, and perineal neuropathy. I am currently being treated with Oxycodone, Lyrica, and Methocarbamol, but the pain is increasing. Are there other alternatives for pain management?
