I am 51 years old and my period has become erratic over the past year. I had my period on November 4th, skipped December, and then had a shorter, lighter period on January 5th. I got my period again on January 25th and am still bleeding. I had my annual exam and pap smear in July, and everything was fine. Are these irregularities normal during perimenopause, and should I be concerned about potential underlying issues like endometrial hyperplasia or cancer?

I am a 30-year-old female who recently started trying to conceive. My wife is 34 weeks pregnant with our second child. She was recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which was missed earlier. The ultrasound showed the baby is above average in size, particularly in abdominal circumference (AC), and we have an appointment with the diabetes clinic in a few days. Given the baby's size and the recent diagnosis, should we be worried, and what immediate steps should we take to manage the situation?

My period was due to start December 27. I am normally regular with a 30-day cycle. I missed my January period and tested negative for pregnancy. On January 16-18, I had light spotting that was pink to brown when I wiped, and the spotting stopped when I lay down and rested. My pregnancy test is still negative. Could this be implantation bleeding and still have a negative test? If it could be implantation bleeding, when would I expect the test to come up positive?
