I think I have a yeast infection but I’m not sure. I am 22 years old and experiencing vaginal pain, especially when sitting down, and have white patches inside my vagina. I had a Pap smear a year ago with an irregular result of my cervix pointing in an opposite direction. I am sexually active but always use condoms, and I was tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea before these symptoms started. I also do not have any burning sensation during urination or fever. What could be causing these symptoms and how can I treat it?

I have an itchy feeling in my vagina and anal area for about a year. I haven't experienced this in the past, and I have HPV. My last pap test was last year with irregular results. I don't have a fishy odor, but I sometimes have discharge and it stings after showering. I've tried medication for yeast infections without success.
