I have a left ovarian cyst and am experiencing daily brown vaginal discharge with pain. I went to the ER, where they did a CT scan but did not perform a pelvic exam or take vaginal cultures. My periods are regular, and I have no odor from the discharge. I am sexually active but do not use birth control, having had my tubes clamped with Felshie clips three years ago.
