I have been experiencing worsening menstrual periods, including increased length, heaviness, flooding, and clots, as well as nausea and vomiting on heavy days. I have been diagnosed with mild anemia and several fibroids, including one around 11cm. The gynecologist suggested abdominal surgery, but I am looking for other options such as laparoscopic surgery, vaginal hysterectomy, or uterine artery embolization. I am also concerned about the necessity and urgency of the surgery, and whether these options are viable for my case.

I went to the doctor for a yeast infection after being on a strong antibiotic. I'm not sure if it's a yeast infection. Can a yeast infection affect both the vagina and the urethra? I've had clumpy white discharge from the vagina and urethra, itching, redness, and irritation. I was sexually active with one person about 2-3 weeks ago. I started fluconazole 150 mg on Monday, but haven't noticed any improvement yet. Should I get an STD screen?

What causes blood-filled knots around the vagina that burst in 2 to 3 days of appearing, are deep purple, very tender, and only bleed when they burst? The knots appear a couple of times a year, are about half an inch in size, and have been occurring for a few years. The patient is 62 years old, a widow, has had a complete hysterectomy in 1989, and has a history of PTSD, mild depression, and fibromyalgia. They take Wellbutrin, Cymbalta, and a multivitamin daily. They are not sexually active and are not on any blood thinners.

I’m having very intense period pain and nausea. It started on the first day of my period two days ago, and the pain is in my lower abdomen. I also have lots of bloating and loose stool. I have PCOS and take metformin. Should I still go to work?

Can you please tell me if my vagina looks normal? I noticed something felt out of place when using the bathroom, so I pushed it back in and took pictures before and after. The after pictures show it looking smaller. I am very insecure and scared. What can I do to fix it if something is wrong?
