I'm bleeding after having sex. I lost my virginity earlier this month and have had sex two times since then, both times resulting in light bleeding that lasts a few minutes. I'm 17 years old, don't use any medications, and have a history of asthma and pneumonia. The sex was somewhat rough, but I don't have vaginal itching, swelling, soreness, pain, burning sensation with urination, abnormal discharge, or vaginal dryness. It was protected sex with a known partner. What could be causing the bleeding, and what can I do about it?
