I have PCOS and am looking into my options for fertility treatment. My doctor has suggested birth control pills to regulate my period, but I still don't have a normal period. What are my options?

I'm around 6 weeks pregnant and suddenly started bleeding bright red blood. The bleeding started about 10 minutes ago and is quite heavy, soaking through my clothes, but I have no cramps or clots. I'm not on any medications, but I did have an iron infusion 8 weeks ago due to extremely low iron levels, and I walk around 8km a day. Could this bleeding be related to the iron infusion, and what should I do?

I am currently on Apri 28-day birth control pills and have never missed a pill. My boyfriend and I had unprotected intercourse, and I took Plan B the same day. Should I have taken Plan B, and what should I do if I miss a pill in the future?
