I have been experiencing itchiness and a fishy smell around my vaginal area, which started more than two weeks ago. The itchiness was initially accompanied by tenderness, redness, and swelling after unprotected sex with a new partner. The symptoms subsided after a week without sex but returned with the fishy smell when I resumed sexual activity. My discharge has also increased and is slightly clumpy. What could be causing these symptoms, and what can I do to address them?

I was diagnosed with PMDD 8 months ago and have been experiencing severe depression and anxiety symptoms, particularly around ovulation and 10 days before my period. I've tried various antidepressants like duloxetine, fluoxetine, paroxetine, and zolof, but they caused bad side effects. I've also tried birth control pills in the past, which made me nauseous and caused vomiting. Does PMDD affect symptoms around ovulation, and would a birth control ring be effective in managing these symptoms similarly to birth control pills?

My wife is 8 weeks pregnant and has had some spotting in the last hour with one more solid small chunk. It’s night time here and we’re not sure who to call or what we should be doing. She has had two ultrasounds showing a healthy pregnancy, lower than normal progesterone, and has been off her heart medication diltiazam for the pregnancy. She has had reduced nausea since stopping the medication. What could be causing the spotting and what should we do in case of an emergency during the night?
