Can I get a copy of my tax papers from 2010 to current? The state of Arkansas says that I owe a huge amount of back taxes, but I was outside of the US (OCONUS) for 12 years.

I can't find my PIN for my taxes. Where are you currently located? How old are you? Do you have any dependents? What is your typical filing status? Do you know roughly what you made this year? Is this going to cost me to use this service?

Why doesn't the Adjustment to Retained Earnings (a negative number in my case) on Schedule L Line 25 update the following year's retained earnings in Turbo Tax? Shouldn't an adjustment here change Retained Earnings for the next year? When walking through the interview section, it always shows higher Retained Earnings that I have to again reduce down.

As a caregiver and independent contractor for a 90-year-old married couple, I maintain their household, shop and cook their meals, do their laundry, and provide personal care. I work 24/7 with an occasional day off staffed with a substitute that I pay. I provide for my own meals since the couple does not provide for them. My residence is two miles away, and I stop by infrequently to pick up a change of clothes or take care of some minor personal business. I file both Schedules C and SE. Can I take a standard deduction for meals under these circumstances?

My wife's mother passed away and left a will assigning her as executor of her estate. The only asset is the house, which is being sold. There are 4 siblings, including my wife. The title company is asking us to fill out a form 1099-S for tax purposes. I assumed that this is an inheritance and is not subject to be taxed. Each sibling will receive approximately $11,000. How should this distribution be reported so that no tax will be due?

Three years ago, I had to sell my 30-year-old business due to economic hardship, resulting in a $200,000 debt from unpaid payroll taxes. I made an offer in compromise of $15,000, which was accepted by the IRS in 2012. I've been unemployed for 1.5 years and have fallen behind on personal taxes for 2012, owing $10,000. I've paid $6,500 and can pay the balance within 90 days. However, I cannot file Form 9465 due to the offer in compromise. Is there any way to prevent the reinstatement of the $200,000 debt, especially now that I have employment and am making progress?
