I converted my GE JGB600SETSS gas range from natural gas to LP gas according to the instructions provided. However, both the oven and broiler have flames that are too large and reach the sides of the oven. Is there an adjustment other than moving the vent shutters to the LP positions and tightening them as instructed, or do the orifices on both the oven and broiler need to be replaced? The kit supplied did not include any replacements.

My Whirlpool washer (model # wtw4815ew0, 7 years old) has red and green lights staying on, and it makes a grinding noise when the start button is pushed, but no water fills and the process doesn't start. I've unplugged it for 20-30 minutes to reset twice, but it didn't work. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

I have a DCS 6 gas burners and electric oven, 36" and 8 years old. Recently, while roasting vegetables at 450 degrees, the oven door locked as if it was in cleaning mode. We turned the oven off, it cooled down, and we were able to open it. However, we are still roasting vegetables and a leg of lamb at 450 degrees and are concerned about it happening again. What should we do if it happens again?

My friend’s KitchenAid range is having a probe issue. She’s trying to bake something at 350, hit start and when it preheats to around 199, it’s looking for a probe. The range didn’t come with this accessory (though it has the probe jack inside). They tried turning the oven off and back on. She used the self-clean feature recently, not sure if that could be related. The range is electric and not more than 5 years old. They have tried turning off and unplugging, pressing “3” for 5 seconds, and it did have an F3 error message.
