I have a GE microwave model PVM9005SJ1SS, about a year old, that runs continuously unless the door is open. I have tried switching the breaker off and on again, but it didn't help. What could be the issue and what steps can I take to fix it?

The spark igniters on my oven are only lighting some of the time. I purchased new ones that I will be replacing in the next few days. Someone told me on this particular model it could be caused by a bad ground wire, so I plan to replace that as well. He told me to run a 10 or 12 gauge wire to the chassis. Could you explain where exactly I should run this new ground wire?
