I have a Miele gas cooktop, KM 34XX series, about five years old. The burners don't light easily and go out easily, especially on low settings. I tried disassembling but found no clear issues. Could the burners be out of alignment from cleaning? What maintenance or repairs are needed?

What is the sticky fluid leaking in the refrigerator, which is brownish initially and now colorless but slightly yellow and sticky? The fridge is a 5-6 year old Samsung with double cooling tower, level and not tilted, located in an unheated pool house. The refrigerator temperature once reached 65 degrees, but the freezer remained at minus 8. The fluid has leaked into the freezer, causing the gasket to fall off and become sticky.

I have a KitchenAid downdraft vent system with model number KIRD862VSS. The vent is up and the fan is in, but it will not retract. I have taken out the filters, cleaned them, and returned them to the hood, but the issue persists. The manual mentions that this should activate the microswitch.
