I have a Surrey Air conditioning split 5 ton AC that starts and stops every 2 minutes. On the condenser, there is an electronic plate with small switches numbered 1 through 5. Is this used to regulate the time between cycles? The unit has the correct freon, cools fine, and is new, but it stops and starts continuously every 2 minutes. How can I regulate more time off to prevent it from starting so often?

The small switches on the electronic plate of the condenser might be related to the timing of the AC...

I have a new GE dishwasher and it will not drain. I understand there may be a drain plug that needs to be removed but I can't find it.

When I was in the UK, we used small halogen space heaters that were effective and relatively inexpensive to run. I am now back in the US and trying to find similar heaters. I see heaters called radiant. Are these the same type but called differently here? Also, which type of heater is most cost-effective in the US? My house heating system is oil, which is prohibitive.

The cancel/drain light on my dishwasher (model KUDS301xwh2) won't go off, preventing me from starting a new cycle. What should I do?

I have a Kenmore front-load 3.5 super capacity washer and it will not spin on high speed, causing the clothes to come out wetter than they should be. The tub spins slowly, and I've tried changing the load size. What can it be and can I check it?

My top-load washer got off balance and stopped. I tried to stop the cycle, redistribute the weight, and restart, but now it's filled with water and stopped with the door unlocked. Any suggestions?
