I have a Whirlpool Duet washer, about 10 years old. When I press the control button, I get an unusual symbol in the Estimated Time Remaining window - it shows three dashes. No error code, just three dashes. Any ideas?

My old refrigerator stopped cooling last night. The motor keeps running and tries to turn on the cooling unit every 2 to 5 minutes but just clicks and draws power as the light goes dim for a few seconds. The back right burner (6") on my GE Spectra range will not turn off even when the knob is in the "off" position. The light and the burner remain on. What could be causing this issue and how can I troubleshoot it?

I have a 20-year-old GE side-by-side refrigerator and need a hinge for the fridge top side. The part number is XXXXX XXXXX, but it seems to be discontinued and unavailable. Do I need the exact part, or can I use a hinge from another model? What are my options if I can't find one?
