My Whirlpool WTW5100HW washing machine is stuck on the cancel cycle and the door is locked. It's been like this for 2 days. I've manually drained it, and after unplugging and plugging it back in, it started a new cycle but stopped after 15 minutes. Can you help diagnose the issue?

My Whirlpool ice maker's wire shut-off arm keeps falling out of its front hole, resulting in too much ice. I haven't replaced the water filter for a few years, and the fridge was bought on 11-25-17. This issue has been going on for about 3 weeks, and I've tried putting the arm back in the hole, but it falls out after opening the drawer once or twice. What should I do to fix this?
