My 12-week-old Bernedoodle, Daisy, has shown a change in urinary frequency this morning. We suspect a UTI and haven't seen a vet yet. What should we do, and is there anything I can pick up from a local farm store to help?

My dog ate a small amount of a poppy seed pastry (less than 1/10th of it, but there were lots of poppy seeds). The dog is a 15 lb, 2-year-old named Ruthie, and she ate about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of seeds 10 minutes ago. She seems totally fine as of now. Should I be concerned about poppy seed toxicity?
