My older female cat got pregnant, but only one kitten survived. My dog, a Kerry Blue Terrier, has been overprotective of the kitten and won't let the cat feed it. The kitten has been suckling on the dog, and I noticed the dog's nipples are red and milk came out when I touched them. Can my dog be feeding the kitten? Is her milk okay for the kitten? The mother cat doesn't seem to mind, which puzzles me. My dog is not pregnant at all.

His last bowel movement was 2 days ago. The vet isn't open until tomorrow morning. What can I do to keep him alive until the vet sees him?

My dog has been bleeding from his penis on and off for the last year. When he bleeds, he seems more anxious, drinks a lot of water, has to go to the bathroom frequently, and whines as if in pain. He has been treated for UTI before but the problem persisted. The bleeding seems to worsen when he needs to go potty. One vet suggested neutering, but it was uncertain if it would help. What could be causing this and what can be done without extensive testing due to financial constraints?
