I own a home deeded only in my name in Kentucky. My fiancée recently broke off the engagement and I want her to leave my home. I moved out two months ago due to her drug use, and I paid for her to attend a 90-day drug rehab program. She is now back using drugs and I am concerned she may damage the property or sell some of the furnishings. I asked her when she would leave and she responded when she is court ordered. What legal steps can I take to remove her from my home?

A gate struck my truck at a hospital, making it undrivable. The hospital's insurance company has offered to pay only 1/3 of the cost to fix the truck, and I believe they should cover the entire cost. I'm unsure whether to let their claims appraiser assess the damage or wait until I consult a lawyer. What should I do?

I filed a broad, non-specific answer to an HOA complaint disputing back fees and requesting my day in court. Due to constraints, I didn't fully research and prepare an explicit response with all my affirmative defenses. Can I now file a motion to amend or supplement the original answer, or should I add all my objections and defenses in my motion to deny or dismiss the motion for summary judgment? There are genuine material facts that need to be determined by the court.

My 18-year-old daughter broke up with her 18-year-old boyfriend who gave her a spiral notebook full of handwritten notes for studying physics. After the breakup, he demanded the notebook back, but she couldn't find it. The campus police officer, who is friends with the ex-boyfriend and his family, threatened to charge her with vandalism and criminal mischief if she doesn't return the notebook by Friday. We've searched for the notebook but can't find it. What should we do? Can they really pursue legal action against her, and will it affect her ability to get a job and be admitted to college?
