How can I get a divorce if my wife doesn't want to give me a divorce, and I don't want to be with her anymore? I've tried giving her the house and taking all debts myself, but we both are paying the house, and she doesn't want to go. I can't afford to pay the house payment and another place to go, and I don't want to affect my credit. What can I do to be legally separated without leaving and getting into trouble?

I had my medical certifications revoked 3 years ago due to an ethics violation. It is now time for me to request sanctions to be removed from my certifications. The bylaws of the ethics committee state that my time for appeal was when the offense happened and that a lawyer cannot represent me now. Do I still need to have a lawyer look at my letters I am submitting to gain reinstatement?

Can I file a motion for a protective order as the discovery deadline approaches to control a burdensome, unreasonable, and oppressive discovery request, narrow the scope of the discovery request, limit excessive discovery, limit disclosure and use, and address the issue as justice requires? The opposing attorney's requests are irrelevant to the main issue of turning gifts before marriage into loans and our mutual business investment monies, and some documents requested go back 30 years, while we were only married and living together for 8 months.

Received a ticket for having the wrong license plate on a newly purchased vehicle, which was driven home from the purchase site. The ticket was for no insurance, which was dismissed, but the court called the plate violation a misdemeanor. I plead not guilty, as I did not intentionally, willfully, or knowingly violate the law. What are my chances of being found guilty, what will be the penalty if found guilty, and should I appeal?

I have a form giving a bank authority over a piece of property owned by me that has my name signed on it but it is not my signature. I supposedly signed three documents the same day and two have my signature, the third does not. Since the decline in the economy, my business has died. The bank is trying to collect and they claim authority over a piece of property not totally owned by me and never given as collateral. If I have grounds, I may seek a settlement. Or, I just may use a leverage for another loan. Are you contending that you never signed the collateral agreement, is this it?

I was in a lease for 1 year and after the 5th month, I moved out due to my OCD and anxiety. The remainder of the lease is now with a collections agency, and in the state where the lease was, mental illness is a valid reason to terminate a lease. Can I send the collections agency a letter from my psychiatrist to resolve the debt?
