What can I do if a lawyer charges me $5000 for an LLC and now he's charging $2000 for the exact same thing? Is there any recourse, especially if he disappeared with my money and failed to disclose his whereabouts and new address?

We own a modular home in Keenesburg, Colorado, that we can't sell because someone removed the HUD tag. We still owe on the house and land. We have another piece of land and are considering moving the house there. How do we separate the land and house and decide what the land would be worth?

I was terminated from my law enforcement job in a small village in Ohio after being accused of falsifying my time card, leaving work without permission, and making derogatory remarks towards the department and its leaders. I was initially suspended without pay and then given a three-day suspension without pay. After returning to work, I was late due to a scheduling misunderstanding, which led to another interview and eventual termination. I have never received copies of any complaints or suspension paperwork when requested. The chief of police is retiring soon. Do I have any recourse to keep my job or challenge the termination?

I was served a citation by the state of Texas for unjust enrichment of money had and received and contribution and indemnification. The case involves BancorpSouth Bank in Mississippi suing Wells Fargo Bank over a fraudulent check by David Motto to my account. A wire was made by the bank before the check cleared, and later they took the money from my savings account without my knowledge. I am now being sued by BancorpSouth. Will I still be liable to pay part of the $100,000 that BancorpSouth is suing me for?
