I was terminated from my law enforcement job in a small village in Ohio after being accused of falsifying my time card, leaving work without permission, and making derogatory remarks towards the department and its leaders. I was initially suspended without pay and then given a three-day suspension without pay. After returning to work, I was late due to a scheduling misunderstanding, which led to another interview and eventual termination. I have never received copies of any complaints or suspension paperwork when requested. The chief of police is retiring soon. Do I have any recourse to keep my job or challenge the termination?

My ex-husband passed away last week. We were divorced, but when we were married, we had a home together. He had no will or legal guardians, so his nieces and nephews took over. I am in Maryland, and I want to know if I can claim anything after everything is paid. He never remarried, and neither did I. What am I entitled to?

I was served a citation by the state of Texas for unjust enrichment of money had and received and contribution and indemnification. The case involves BancorpSouth Bank in Mississippi suing Wells Fargo Bank over a fraudulent check by David Motto to my account. A wire was made by the bank before the check cleared, and later they took the money from my savings account without my knowledge. I am now being sued by BancorpSouth. Will I still be liable to pay part of the $100,000 that BancorpSouth is suing me for?
