I have a homeowner insurance claim with Erie and Niagara due to damage from a house fire next door in January 2015. My insurance company is not paying, and I have been waiting for almost a year with no results from the hired insurance adjuster. I do not have a denial letter and cannot sue the neighbor. I am suing a lawyer in Hawaii pro se for legal misconduct, fraud, theft, and other issues related to the theft of my patented software. I have filed a bar complaint and a lawsuit, both of which have been dismissed without prejudice. I am seeking legal assistance to understand why the bar complaint was dismissed and how to proceed with the lawsuit. Additionally, I am looking for guidance on how to address the ethical violations and potential criminal aspects of the case, including contacting the appropriate authorities and finding pro bono or contingency attorneys.

I am a teacher being investigated because I let an elementary student braid my hair during recess and another student massaged my shoulders when I said I was stressed. The mother of the student that braided my hair complained to the principal, and I was put on paid leave while a detective investigates. I have always been a top teacher and want to know if I should seek counsel at this point.

We are a small business being sued for trademark infringement in federal court. We intend to settle and are close to a solution. However, the deadline to serve our Answer is approaching. We need to know: 1. If we serve the Answer via email and post mail to the opposing counsel on time, do we also need to file it with the court to avoid a default judgment? 2. Can we file the Answer with our local federal court instead of the distant one where the case was filed? 3. If we can't file it locally, can we file it via fax or email since we're not set up on the ECF system? 4. Should we file for a dismissal of the case since it was filed in the wrong county? 5. Can we file a motion for a Change of Venue via our local court, mail, or fax?
