I have a mortgage on my house and want to add my father to the title (not to the mortgage). Would it affect the mortgage, forcing me to pay it in full or refinance?

As a Police Officer, I learned that my personal records were requested as part of a Pitchess Motion. I understand the department is required to notify me when they receive notice so I can contest the motion if I want. My department did not inform me, and the hearing has passed. Can they do this? Don't they have to tell me? What can I do now?

I've been seeing a professional counselor for about 6 months and would like to transition to a friendship outside the professional realm. However, according to the NBCC's code of ethics, she is unable to engage in such a relationship. Is there a way I can waive my rights as a patient to make this relationship possible without endangering her professional standing?

I applied for a mortgage loan and received a good faith estimate for 3.5%. I signed all their paperwork, including a rate lock for 3.5%, disclosures, etc. When they presented the final documents for me to sign, the rate was 3.75%. They now say the 3.5% was a mistake and they can't honor it. What are my legal rights to force them to honor this rate?

I sold a car and didn't receive payment. I already have a judgment in my favor from the magistrate. Still no payment. Do I file a notice of appeal to get the car back? And what do they mean by praecipe to enter rule to file complaint and rule to file?

A friend asked me to put her car in my name during financial difficulties, and she accumulated approximately 700 EZPass toll violations. I forwarded her the notifications, and she assured me she was handling them. I received a notice from Maryland CCU stating I owe $45,000, which will be taken from my state tax return. EZPass and Maryland CCU cannot transfer the violations to her name. 1) How is it legal for EZPass/MD transportation authority to impose a 750% fine, and do I have any recourse? 2) With texts from my friend admitting fault, but the amount being too high for small claims court, what legal direction should I take or what type of lawyer should I consult?
