I have been in a lease for a condominium in Scottsdale, Arizona since April 2012. My landlord resides in Montreal, Quebec. I have always paid rent on time and taken good care of the property. However, due to repeated disturbances caused by my roommate, who suffers from Dementia and alcoholism, the landlord initially asked us to vacate the property by December 31, 2012, even though rent was paid through March 2013. The landlord later allowed me to stay but required my roommate to leave. Despite my efforts, my roommate has not left and continues to cause disturbances. The landlord now insists that both of us must leave within a couple of days. Given my health issues and the difficulty of finding a new place within such a short time, I am seeking advice on my tenant rights and how to handle this situation. Specifically, I want to know: 1) Do I have any rights to stay until the end of my paid lease period despite the disturbances? 2) How can I get my roommate to leave without further police involvement and disruptions?

After an accident, my insurance paid off the principal balance of my loan, which was current at the time. However, the company later demanded an additional $6,000, which was charged off and reported as $5,000 more on my credit report. The account is listed as a charge-off with a balance of $6,229.00, and the credit bureau states that I dispute this. The same loan is now showing on Equifax for $12,092.00. What should I do about this false information reported to the credit bureaus?

I am applying for naturalization and need to answer the question on the N-400 application: 'Have you ever been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer (including USCIS or former INS and military officers) for any reason?' In May 2008, I received a citation and a Summons for a summary non-traffic case related to public drunkenness. I paid the fine in full. Should I check 'Yes' or 'No' for this question, and how should I describe the outcome if I check 'Yes'?

Our family booked a cruise on Royal Caribbean through a travel agent, who was told by RC personnel that a 4-month-old baby would not be a problem despite the 6-month age limit. This misinformation may cause the whole family to cancel. Who is responsible for this error, and is it reasonable to ask for a full refund for our whole group? Should we threaten a lawsuit to strengthen our chances of getting a full refund?
