I just moved into an apartment in Tawas City, Michigan, where I discovered live bed bugs despite the manager's assurance that the issue was resolved. I am 8 months pregnant and have been advised by my employer to stay off work until the bed bug issue is resolved and I get clearance from my doctor. I am concerned that this situation might lead to me losing my job. Should I worry, and do I have any legal rights or options?

My sister found a $900 ticket at a New York casino, waited for someone to return for it, and then played with it along with an additional $20. The ticket was later refused by another slot machine. Is there any legal repercussion for this, and what should she do if approached by casino security?

I work in an open office with a colleague who wears an overwhelming amount of perfume, causing health issues such as headaches, raspy voice, and burning eyes. My employer is reluctant to address the issue and has sent me to a doctor, who now wants to send me to an allergist. Can my employer require me to take treatment, such as shots, if it is determined to be an allergy and not a chemical sensitivity?

Can I sue the owner of my apartment if it was flooded due to pipes bursting, causing significant damage to my property and rendering the apartment uninhabitable for 7 days? Additionally, the flood restoration company used my outlets without permission, left the apartment unlocked, and unplugged my security camera. I have also been dealing with mold and rodent issues since moving in, and I have Stage 4 Metastatic Lung Cancer. The apartment had a strong smell of urine when I arrived after the incident, and water was leaking in multiple places. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I receive project-based rent assistance. I was also threatened with eviction for not paying rent, despite always paying on time, and I had to fight the eviction in court.

I allowed someone to stay at my home for one month and she paid with a check. I want her to leave, but I'm unsure if she has any rights to stay. What are the steps I need to take to legally ask her to leave, considering I am in Ohio?

My mother passed away and a lawsuit in her name has come up. I am her heir and received a document about the lawsuit. I don't understand what it means and what will happen if I sign it. The lawsuit also involves my father who is in federal prison. What should I do?
