I lost my wallet at a store, and although they found it, someone else claimed it and they gave it to that person without verifying the name on the driver's license. I want to know what I should do. I called the cops at the store, and they said they would look at the cameras and call me back within 6-8 hours, but it's been 2 days.

In a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship involving loan documents and money invested in a property (septic, well, and other structures), if my name is on the original loan, should I have been contacted for her to refinance at a different financial institution?
