I am having a toxic reaction to a mold or dust mite infestation in my carpet. I need to know how to identify what is in the carpet other than through cultures for mold/fungus and dust mites. My two dogs and I are allergic to Aspergillus fumigatus, dust mites, and bluegrass. I also see patterns in the carpet like little holes and burrowing, which have become more prevalent. What am I dealing with?

I need to get a prescription for Gabapentin again. I was seeing a rheumatoid doctor who prescribed this for me at night. I ran out of insurance and cannot afford to see him again. I take Tegretol for my chronic neuralgia on the left side of my face. I'm a male, 59, and it's getting harder to handle the pain. This medication seems to help me manage it.

I am a 50-year-old female with multiple orthopedic issues, including a right total knee replacement 16 months ago, a swollen hand requiring an ace bandage, and a recent emergency visit where my right knee was immobilized due to swelling and high white blood cell count, indicating sepsis. I also have a neck fracture (C7) pressing against the spinal cord and multiple spinal issues (L3-4, L5-6). I am currently on antibiotics (Levaquin) and have been advised to continue pre-op exercises. However, I am uncomfortable returning to my current surgeon. Could you offer an opinion on where I can seek help for these debilitating issues, particularly the torn ligament in my knee?

How long does it take for opioids, specifically Morphine-based drugs, to reduce their side effects when the dosage is cut in half? I reduced my dosage by half in February 2014, and I believe it can take up to 6 months for the side effects to reduce once the amount has been significantly reduced. Is this correct?
