I have an ear infection and cannot see a doctor for a week. What can help with the sharp pain, especially since it kept me up most of the night? I have been experiencing throat pain when swallowing for almost 4 days, which is achey and burning. I have been taking Tylenol but it is not getting better. I also feel cold sometimes and have occasional cough, nausea, and vomiting when the pain aggravates. What could be causing this and what can I do to alleviate the pain?
