These issues often require ER visits for drainage and antibiotics. The condition has worsened over time, with more masses forming and my throat becoming more blocked. Despite treatments like salt water gargling and antibiotic mouth rinses, the condition persists and new masses continue to form. I have been experiencing mucus buildup in my throat at night, which wakes me up and makes it difficult to sleep. This issue started after Thanksgiving and has remained stable with light, clear mucus. When I eat, it causes my upper stomach/diaphragm to hurt and makes me have heart palpitations/racing heart beat/spasms. I feel like I need to belch but can not. I have asthma and this makes it difficult to get deep breaths. My stomach also makes a lot of noise, gurgling, etc. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests or treatments should I consider?
