I have a question about DVT symptoms. I am going to have a surgery for a cosmetic procedure and have a weird tenderness pain in my calf on the inner left leg, just below the knee joint. The pain is localized to one spot and feels tender and sore when I walk or press on it. No redness, hot feeling, burning, tingling, or swelling is present. I am paranoid about having a blood clot forming and am concerned about going into surgery.

I have a concern about a focal asymmetry found on a recent mammogram by a new radiologist, which was not detected by my original radiologist. My original breast surgeon's office reviewed the images and said there is nothing to worry about. However, I am still concerned if the surgeon reviewed the actual images or just the reports. Should I be worried about this focal asymmetry, and would a radiologist typically review the actual images again if another radiologist found something different?

What does it mean when a CT scan shows inflammatory or infectious changes in the intestine, and what kind of infections or conditions could cause this? My grandad has been losing weight and experiencing sickness after eating for the last few months, but his stool color is normal. The CT scan did not show any cancerous masses, but he was prescribed antibiotics and advised to follow up with a doctor. I'm worried about my grandad and want to understand this better.
